Many forces are at work, all bringing each Arab nation closer together and more starkly opposed to Israel, just as the Scriptures foretell. Now to some truly significant events:
Syria Reenters the Arab League
In 2011, Syrian President Bashar Assad retaliated against anti-government protests and incurred heavy criticism from his Arab neighbors. As punishment, Syria was suspended from the Arab League and was largely in isolation as a result. But now, after 11 years of being considered a pariah by the other Arab nations, Syria has been warmly welcomed back into the Arab fold:

This is an incredibly important development, for Syria encompasses the territory of two latter-day enemies of Israel named in prophecy: the Hagarenes and some of ancient Assyria (Psalm 83:7-8). If Syria is to be part of the Psalm 83 confederacy, it’s only reasonable that they must be united in a fairly strong bond. Syria’s former “outcast” status prevented such unity, but the other Arab nations have decided to forgive Assad’s errors without even requiring an apology or change in policy! Prophecy is being fulfilled milestone by milestone, and the readmittance of Syria to the Arab League is a MAJOR step toward the fulfillment of Psalm 83.
The last article from The Jerusalem Post explains some of the reasoning behind this move:
“As the region begins to feel that great powers are no longer the main players here, they will do more joint work… This is an important symbol of cooperation. The UAE and Jordan are close partners...”
“Over the past year, however, many countries in the region have sought reconciliation. That means even countries such Turkey, whose ruling party has roots in the Muslim Brotherhood, have toned down their critique of Egypt, the UAE and Tunisia, countries that oppose the Muslim Brotherhood.”
The Arab states are sensing the weakening of American influence in the region and perceive the need for them to unite and rely more on one another to achieve their interests. This has caused them to forgive trespasses that they formerly clung to. It’s clear that the Arabs are preparing for something and are willing to set aside significant differences to achieve a degree of unity, and all of this is apparent in the Word of Truth! The “heathen round about” in Psalm 83 must be confederate with one another for the Scriptures to be true, and it is happening before our eyes.
But Syria is not the only one who has added more allies:
Jordan Warms Up to Iran
Long the exception of Arab states, Jordan has been among the friendliest Arab states toward Israel. But the past year has seen a stark, downward turn in this relationship, and Jordan is now moving into the arms of Israel’s greatest enemy, IRAN!

Why is Jordan wanting to mend relations with Iran? For the same reason that the Arab League so freely readmitted Syria!
“Iran and its terror proxy Hamas have been strengthening ties with Arab countries in recent months, apparently as a result of a weakening U.S. influence in the region under the Biden administration… ‘What we’re witnessing now is the natural dynamics of a Middle East that no longer has an American military presence…’”
As America is Israel’s strongest ally, less American presence in the region makes Israel more vulnerable, and the Arab nations know it. MARK THIS WELL, for the less influence the US has in the region, the more quickly and boldly the Arabs will act as they’re less likely to incur consequences for their actions.
Will Jordan become another proxy of Iran? It’s doubtful that they will be a puppet to the extent that some of the other terror organizations are, but Jordan’s actions are out a desire for self-preservation. If it’s in Jordan’s interest to align with Iran and her terror groups to fight Israel, then Jordan will do what it needs to do. It’s becoming more and more clear how Edom, Ammon, and Moab will join the impending conflict against Israel! (Isaiah 11:14, Psalm 83:6-7). Perhaps they too will answer an Iranian call for war on Israel!
Art Thou Come to Take a Spoil?
In light of declining US presence in the Middle East, we can’t help but imagine how this might account for the question posed by the Lion powers to Gog when he begins his march southward to Israel:
Ezekiel 38:13 – Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
As the United States is the only Lion power with any real influence in the region, I believe we are beginning to see why only a question is posed as compared a threat of war. To make the Lion powers say more than this makes the text say too much. It appears that the Lion powers are either physically unable to intervene or unwilling, and it might be a combination of the two.
It's no secret that Biden does not like Netanyahu. Now in the seventh month of his new term, the Israeli Prime Minister has yet to be invited to the White House, and Biden has recently made it clear that he will not receive an invitation unless he starts ruling how Biden wants him to (World Israel News).
Also, Biden has announced new plans to combat antisemitism. While pearly on the surface, the details show the fast-deteriorating relationship between the two countries:

If you have time to read the article from United with Israel, I recommend doing so. It essentially says that the US has adopted a more loose definition of antisemitism called “the Nexus definition” as compared to the previously accepted, stronger definition of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
According to the Nexus definition, “it is not anti-Semitic to denounce Israel’s creation or treat the Jewish state more harshly than other countries.” Therefore, it is not antisemitic to celebrate the Muslim Nakba day; a day set aside to mourn and protest the birth of the nation of Israel. It’s also not antisemitic to hold Israel to different standards than any other nation on earth and treat them more harshly. This is what the Nexus definition allows.
The definition is contradictory, for though it calls for an end to antisemitism, it allows the root cause of it to go uncondemned. How can antisemitism cease if the world is allowed to loathe the existence of a Jewish state? The Nexus definition is simply another tool being used by the world to allow antisemitism by weakening the definition of it.
Such is simply nonsense, and any friend of Israel would immediately spurn the Nexus definition. But, “While the White House says the United States “has embraced” the IHRA definition (which is the stronger, better definition), it also praises the conflicting “Nexus” definition… In addition, the administration welcomes and appreciates the Nexus Document.”
The Biden Administration is not a friend of Israel, and this administration leads the United States. Please note this well! Some of the Pioneer brethren did not perceive how isolated Israel would be, but this is the present reality that we must account for. As America’s influence continues to dwindle in the Middle East, it will become more difficult for them to intervene, regardless of how much they want to.
We have yet to comment upon Iran and Russia, but we plan to do so in the next Prophecy Letter. Until then, please be watchful! These things are truly remarkable, and I fear that many (myself included at times) are not fully aware of how important these developments are and laying their import to heart. The angels are diligently working, and soon they will be sent to gather the covenanted of the Lord!

ESCALATION and the Forming Arab Confederacy

A NEW CONFLICT BETWEEN ISRAEL AND GAZA
As of today, hundreds of rockets have poured into Israel from Islamic Jihad based in Gaza, the land which uncoincidentally correlates precisely to that of the ancient Philistines (Psalm 83:7, Isaiah 11:14). Some of these rockets are completely missing their targets, but the barrage continues on and shows no signs of stopping. As of 5:20 pm (Israel-time), more than 270 confirmed rockets have been fired into Israel:

Many (myself included) are probably wondering, Is this conflict going to continue to grow, or will it fizzle back down? DEBKAfile says that this is largely up to Hamas and will be decided by whether they join in with Islamic Jihad or not, saying that “Hamas is the key to a potential escalation of the Gaza crisis” – DEBKAfile.
If that is true, then we might expect it only to grow, for Israel National News just reported,

But now, it seems that Israel and Islamic Jihad have entered ceasefire talks:

Any who are familiar with the nature of the Middle East know that this is not a peace agreement. These ceasefires often fail, and even if they do hold up for a short period, both sides understand that it is only temporary and hostilities will resume. Whether this ceasefire holds likely depends upon whether the Arabs see any profit in continuing the barrage or not.
But the prophecy of Isaiah 11 causes me to wonder whether ISRAEL might finally “have enough” and fall upon Gaza. Preceding verses are included to show context:
Isaiah 11:11-14 – And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. (12) And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (13) The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. (14) But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
Now, an examination of the entire chapter potentially suggests that this “flying upon the shoulders of the Philistines” and of Edom, Moab, and Ammon takes place after Christ has returned to the Jews. A “root of Jesse (Jesus Christ)… shall stand for an ensign of the people” of the earth, and it is after this that we have the account regarding Israel’s enemies. But nevertheless, the fact that this very thing is a current possibility SHOULD GRAB OUR ATTENTION. Look at what Netanyahu just told the press:

Netanyahu is already preparing to “fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines” to some extent AND take on the other Arab nations surrounding Israel.
Adding to this multi-front trouble is Hezbollah to the north (Tyre and Gebal of Psalm 83:7), for they are also making preparations for an impending war with Israel:

Brethren, how wonderful it is to see all of these things coming together! But there’s more adding to the situation:
Iran Sprints to Nuclear Capability
Iran is inching closer and closer to multiple nuclear weapons, now planning to have 10 additional Uranium enrichment facilities completed by the end of this year (DEBKAfile). This will give them a total of 18 facilities! They are approaching nuclear ability at a rate not yet seen! The article from DEBKAfile explains some of the reasons why:
“There is common consent on the reason why the Islamic Republic feels confident of getting away with marching without pause on a nuclear bomb, in breach of all its commitments and in defiance of all penalties. US President Joe Biden is up to his ears in dealing with Russia over the Ukraine conflict and with China over the proactive spread of its military economic and diplomatic wings; he is therefore averse to letting his desk be cluttered with Iran’s nuclear threat.
“The ayatollahs in Tehran are fully aware of the US president’s preoccupations and fully exploiting it to get ahead on developing a nuclear arsenal and other advanced weaponry, while also making hay on the diplomatic front.”
Furthermore, Iran has recently equipped their naval vessels with cruise missiles effective to 1,000km, which is over 621 miles (DEBKAfile)! Iran is progressing, and Israel knows it.
In the previous Prophecy Letter, we discussed how America has told Israel that they’re on their own with Iran, and this has not only emboldened Iran, but her proxies as well.
Syria is Readmitted to the Arab League
For the past many weeks, we’ve seen reports of meetings between the various Arab nations. We are often not told what the topic of these meetings is, but we already know the answer to that: Israel.
While the Arabs share a common hatred for Israel, they have also historically been plagued by divisions and rivalries. To ensure a strong coalition, the Arab nations are now trying to settle their differences and make necessary amends to build their confederacy and strengthen their chances for victory against Israel. It appears that one such product of these meetings has just surfaced:

Syria had been ousted from the Arab League in 2011 due to their handling of anti-government protests, but the Arab League is now “mysteriously” forgiving this action and readmitting Syria to the League. This kind of thing is precisely what happened in the past major Arab-Israeli wars. Agreements were made in an attempt to settle rivalries and issues in the hopes of creating a unified front against Israel.
I believe that “the Hagarenes” of Psalm 83 are a reference to modern Syria, for they inhabited the southern regions of the country. If this is true, then Syria is part of the Psalm 83 confederacy, and we therefore ought to expect them to play a prominent role in the coming war. In fact, Isaiah 17:1-7 foretells the complete destruction of Damascus and the weakening of Israel, culminating in Israel “looking to their Maker and having respect unto the Holy One of Israel” (vs. 7). We fully expect Syria’s involvement in the situation to increase and build up to this event. These recent events are a clear message: the Arab nations are preparing for a united, multi-front attack on Israel, and the prophecies concerning such are therefore nearing fulfillment!
Conclusion
I wish there was more time to discuss these things, but hopefully this is enough for us to ruminate and lay to heart just how near our Lord is. Prepare ourselves, Brethren! Please be ever-watchful of the situation in the Middle East, for I firmly believe that the situation with Israel and her Arab neighbors is the single clearest indication that our Lord is to gather us soon! I have said it 100 times, but the simple fact bears repeating again and again: If Christ has his saints with him when these Arab nations are destroyed (Zechariah 14:5), then we must have already been gathered and judged. The fact that we are even seeing the things we are seeing now is simply incredible. That sweet day of consummation approaches us, and quickly!

(12) Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice (13) Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
Sobering Signs, and Many of Them
TGP Prophecy Letter – May 6, 2023
Brothers, Sisters, and friends,
Our lives can be busy. The cost of everything continues only to rise. The evil around us looms bolder and bolder. For those looking only to the future of this dispensation, there is much to worry about and prepare for. In the time left over from the necessary tasks of daily life, what do we give our time to? There is time which we are forced to devote to necessary tasks (like work, grocery shopping, etc.) and then there is time over which we have the power to choose to utilize as we wish. It is how we spend this time that speaks the loudest to our character. When we finally do have free time, be it for three minutes or three hours, what do we do with it? Do we flip out our phones and endlessly and scroll through media pages like Instagram and YouTube? Do we binge watch our favorite shows?
There is nothing inherently wrong with these things in moderation. But the days we live in are not normal days. The Lord has been giving His servants many messages through the kingdoms of men, and He is doing this to get our attention, to tell us that Christ is soon to arrive, and to illicit a response from us. Things will not continue as they always have. The question is, Are we responding to the signs in the political heavens? Does our use of our free time reflect the Hope we have obtained in Christ?
It’s a matter of the heart. Where does it lie? To help answer, think of how much time in our day we allot for things we like to do, and consider, would we be willing to use that same time for the things of the Truth? Be it reading, sharing the Truth, prayer, or simply ruminating on the things of the Truth, how would that make us feel? Would we have to force ourselves to do it? Would we perceive it as a waste of time?
As servants and Brothers and Sisters of the soon-to-return Lord Jesus, we need to sincerely ask ourselves questions like these, and we need to do it now. We can soothe ourselves in saying, “Yes, I’m responding to the signs,” but the true answer will be known in our hearts. If we deceive ourselves now, the truth will still be known when we stand before our Lord and judge.
So please, for a few moments, shut out the boisterous noise of the world and our daily lives and peruse with me the work of our Master’s hand that is being performed as we speak. Yes, this is a fairly long letter. But in the days right before Christ’s return, we should see abundant signs, and for newsletters that are specifically designed to comment upon these signs, it means that the closer we grow to Christ’s return, the more subjects there which should be discussed! For my part, having a platform such as this entrusted to me brings a responsibility to keep Brethren informed, exhorted, and comforted. To offer anything less than a semi-thorough view of world events would feel a neglect of duty. I would rather send this out in smaller snippets, but with my limited time, it is easier to send it all out at once. So read it all together, in little pieces at a time, or even choose to read or do something else entirely, but whatever it be, make it profitable unto righteousness. Jesus is coming!
Let us now hone our attention on the eternal things; the things that really matter and will continue beyond this dispensation. And as we see the trouble in the earth, remember that what the world sees as woes are what we should see as sources of the greatest consolation. While the world writhes at the prospects of the future, the covenanted of the Lord can be filled with joy and hope!
Over the Horizon: The Psalm 83 War
Most notably, WE MUST DIRECT OUR ATTENTION TO THE MIDDLE EAST. Brethren have talked about the Psalm 83 war for many years, and all of the pieces finally seem to be coming together! Israel recognizes that they face trouble on every front from the Arab nations “round about” them just as the Scriptures said they would. See it in the news:

This article points out that “The threat of a coordinated multi-front war on Israel’s borders has long been one of the greatest fears of Israel’s Defense Ministry.”
One part of this regional trouble is a renewed conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. In under 24 hours, over 100 Gaza rockets were fired into Israel (The Jerusalem Post). Israel responded by bombing strategic Hamas positions (Israel National News). The latest news is that a ceasefire has been reached, but it’s certain that it will not last (JNS).
Then there are the Israeli strikes in Syria to the north where Iran has been trying to funnel weapons to their proxies (The Times of Israel). The strikes damaged the Syrian airport enough for it to temporarily close down.
Stoking the flame of war between Israel and her proximal (nearby) Arab neighbors is Iran. They are the ones who arm and support most of the Psalm 83 nations. As Iran is too far away to harass Israel as they desire, they do so through their proxies. Hence, we see headlines like these which show their collaboration:

Netanyahu Warns: Iran Will Not ‘Wrap Terror Noose’ Around Israel’s Neck – United with Israel
Some might doubt the thought of Israel struggling to defeat all of these nations on their own and requiring Christ to intervene. “Israel is far more technologically advanced than the Arabs,” they say, and they are right in this. But I believe that is why the Scriptures foretell of the Arab confederacy. The reason they join together is because they are not strong enough individually. The Arab strength is in numbers and the capacity to overwhelm. While Israel does have better weaponry, these can only be so effective. As we have already seen, Israel is worrisome at the prospect of a multi-front war.
Adding to Israel’s unease is recent the sub-par performance of the Iron Dome, Israel’s most important defense system. The Iron Dome’s average success rate for missile-interception is typically 85-90%. But in this last Gaza conflict, the success rate was only 62.5%. Rightly so, the IDF is concerned about this. It’s certain that Israel will tend to this issue promptly, but it shows that even with a relatively small number of rockets, Israel can still be touched. Multiply this many times over when ALL of her Arab neighbors attack at once, and it is easy to see how Israel can be overwhelmed.
Now to a question that might be in the back of some’s minds, and perhaps one of the most important ones to address: Israel has suffered trouble from these peoples since they became a nation. What is different now that causes us to place so much emphasis on these events? Aren’t the things we see now just like those of before?
Certainly not, and the reason is that multiple parts of the prophetic picture are presently being realized as compared to only a select one or two. Today’s position is unique from those of before on multiple fronts, far too many in fact for us to discuss them all. But if we think of it as a puzzle, previous events can be likened to a few pieces of the puzzle fitting together. Though these developments represented progress, many more pieces needed to be put together for the puzzle to be complete. As you and I stand today, most of these pieces are together! Here are five things that exist now that did not in time past:
1. The Psalm 83 alliance is nearly to full maturity. Israel’s Arab neighbors had fought together before, but in a relatively unified and rivalrous fashion. Today, they are forming the full alliance of Psalm 83. If only two or three of the entities mentioned in that prophecy were getting together, we would say that progress is simply beginning. But as we stand today, these nations are well into the process of forming this alliance. They are uniting under the charter to destroy Israel (Psalm 8:4-5).
2. Israel is arguably more alone now than it has ever been. As we will discuss more in depth in our next section, the US administration quietly (and sometimes not-so-quietly) despises Israel’s Netanyahu government. The US has historically been Israel’s greatest ally, but the Scriptures speak of a time when Israel must stand alone (Isaiah 63:3). This is happening at a notable rate!
3. Iran is nearing nuclear capability without anything to hinder them. Iran has been working towards a nuclear weapon for decades, but there have always been deals and treaties intended to slow their progress (though most, if not all, of these failed to do so). Today, no such limitation exists. Iran does not have to lie to the world and claim that they only seek nuclear ability for medical purposes, but can pull out all the stops and openly work toward the destruction of Israel.
4. Russia is in a delicate, weakened situation which has set them at greater odds with Western powers. My current thinking is that this weakened stance might be the reason for the Gogian confederacy, for if Russia were powerful enough to descend to Israel themselves, there would be no point in bringing others along with them. Doing so only divides the spoils of war to more persons and brings in more voices that have a say in victory terms. I believe Russia will need the confederacy in order to come against Israel. As I have found the Scriptures to show the Christ and the saints are in Jerusalem when Gog descends, this would seem to further validate the thought. Russia having seen the great destruction of the Arabs wrought by the hand of Christ, they will perceive a need for added troops. These are the circumstances I currently believe will lead to the fulfillment of these prophecies.
5. A third World War has never been more likely, and the past two have shown us how drastically the world can change by such an event. A geopolitical analyst named Brandon Weichert has expressed his estimation of a third World War and how it might begin:
“It has been my contention for several years now that the threat of World War III will come not from either Ukraine or Taiwan… But it will emanate from an Iran that is empowered by its allies in Beijing and Moscow. That is precisely what is happening” (Express).
Take careful note of this! He states that an Iranian conflict will not only spark an enormous war in the Middle East, but throughout the entire world. In considering the latter-day prophecies and its many facets, this seems to me as a very plausible and likely scenario. The nations are obviously prepping for war, but nobody wants to be the one to start the conflict. But if a large-scale war breaks out between Iran and their proxies against Israel, that would be the perfect opportunity for other nations like Russia and China to make their moves to “support” their Iranian ally. It would be the perfect pretext for a third World War, and we find ourselves at the doorstep of this very scenario.
There are many more things we could mention, but these should hopefully suffice to gain attention. The most significant of these, in my belief, is that of Iran, as I believe they will be the catalyst for the Psalm 83 war (for why, please see this article and read under the heading “Iran’s Affect Upon the Arab Confederacy”), and potentially even third World War. That this issue is a severe threat for Israel is well established today, but here are two recent examples from the news:

That last article title is a little misleading, for while Iran has enough material for five bombs, the article states that this material still needs to be enriched to about 90%. Currently, they are between 20-60%, so there is still progress that needs to be made, but Iran is doing this as we speak! Can we imagine Iran with FIVE nuclear weapons? Israel will have to act before the warheads are ready. Their existence depends on it.
Myself and other Bible students have found prophecy to show that Christ and the saints arrive to save Israel from this conflict (Zechariah 14:5). Brothers, Sisters, and friends, every indication says that this conflict is brewing NOW, that it is just over the horizon, and that we therefore can be gathered at any moment!
A Weakening US tells Israel – “YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN”
The US was once Israel’s greatest ally who stood for its interests while the rest of the world reviled. It was US President Harry S. Truman who recognized the state of Israel on the day of its declaration. It was the US that helped coerce Britain to pull out of Palestine. Historically, they were Israel’s very best friend, and America prospered for it just as the Lord promised to Abram:
Genesis 12:3 – And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee…
But such is no more. America’s blessing of Israel seems to be a thing of the past, and it has therefore lost Divine favor it once enjoyed because of it. For the past year, we’ve seen the widening gulf between Israel and the US, thanks particularly to the Biden administration. Time and time again, the US has given Israel the cold shoulder, and this is in part due the clash of ideology between the US leftist Joe Biden and Israeli right winger Benjamin Netanyahu.
Although the US has verbally declared support for Israel, many of America’s actions say otherwise. It was just revealed that the Biden administration is supporting the anti-government protests that are going on Israel right now (World Israel News). An article recently published by Israel Unwired was entitled “Biden Coming For Israel”, and it explains some of the reasons why Biden is so against Netanyahu.
It’s clear that the bond is not at all what it used to be. As an observer from the sidelines, it can be frustrating to see these things occur. But this is according to the Scriptures! This is the working of our Lord! He has prophesied that Israel will be alone so that they might call upon him alone in their day of need, and that is precisely what is happening.
And note this: In relation to the Iranian threat, the article from Israel Unwired says this of Israel and the US:
“Perhaps the most important issue that neither side sees eye to eye on is Iran. While the Biden administration claims that no nuclear deal is happening right now, they are not rushing out and forcibly preventing Iran from getting nukes either. Israel is pretty much on its own.”

Brothers and Sisters, consider this well! PROPHECY IS BEING FULFILLED RIGHT NOW. These are particularly important prophecies as they appear to directly prelude Christ’s return! If events like these do not arouse any higher degree of faith, devotion, or urgency for us, we must look inwardly and examine ourselves this very instant. Time is running out!
Now, though it seems that the stage is already set for Israel to stand alone, I still expect ties between Israel and the US to worsen in the days ahead. But I believe that America is leaving Israel on their own not simply because of bad ties, but perhaps also for the fact that they might be underequipped and unable to do so. The US is taking a hard look at its capabilities and is trying to conserve resources for tasks it deems essential. Consider these reports:

The Ukraine war has depleted Western supplies. Coupled with divisions within the US itself, the fall of the dollar, and America’s increasing isolation on the world stage, a third World War for America will not go as the first two did. In both WWI and WWII, the nation rallied together and transformed into a war machine. Manufacturers changed from producing their normal products to creating tanks, guns, ammunition, and other war supplies. Political differences were largely set aside as men and women joined together against a common enemy. Young men volunteered in droves to fight for the nation. Can we imagine these kinds of thing happening to the US today? Not quite.
And so, the US is being weakened on many fronts, and they have essentially given Israel the permission to do as they please with Iran and to take care of it on their own. The outlook for America itself seems fairly bleak, but again, this is how the Lord said it would be before Christ returned, and for that reason, instead of fuming at the evil of the nation and weeping for the future generations of America, we rejoice at these signs as they are clear harbingers of our one and only Master, for in him alone should we place our hope, trust, faith, and love. We have no nation of our own in this world, but our citizenship belongs to that Kingdom which will be established in Zion!
An Assassination Attempt on Putin?
Now, let’s turn our attention to Russia. Some of you might have heard reports that there was a failed assassination attempt on Putin (All Israel News). Russia originally claimed that Ukraine was behind the attack and promised retaliation. But was this attempt genuine or fabricated? Nobody seems to know for sure, but many are skeptical as to its authenticity. Instead, knowing Putin’s conniving nature, it’s possible that the entire story is a sham, intended to give Putin a pretext for increased violence in Ukraine where Russia is performing so poorly.
All Israel News published a follow-up article on this topic and explained this thinking. The publisher interviewed US Senator Lindsey Graham, and he warned that Putin could be using this an excuse to detonate a tactical nuclear device in Ukraine (All Israel News). Such would be right in line with Putin’s character. And just today, he turned the finger from Ukraine and pointed it at the US:

Be it real or fake, Russia’s cantankerous role in world affairs is far from settling down. If the Iran situation is really to catalyze greater events, I believe the Ukraine conflict will continue into that period of war, and perhaps Russia will then use the opportunity to use their nuclear arsenal on Ukraine. We wait to see, but it’s clear that the Lord is directing Russia just as He has the other nations. They will come down toward Israel, and they will meet their end by the hand of the Lord (Ezekiel 38:18-23).
China Grows Bolder
As I’ve discussed in a previous Prophecy Letter, the Scriptures offer us no evidence of any significant Chinese role in the latter-day wars in relation to Israel. Their absence in Scripture does not mean that they are not significant players in a third World War, but simply that their role does not affect Israel in any great capacity. It is clear from today’s world that China will most certainly be involved should a third World War break out. But if China does not directly affect Israel, then what might their role be?
I believe that China, as part of the Russia-Iran alliance, might be one of the main means of weakening the US. They’re one of America’s greatest rivals, and an impending conflict between the two powers has been evident for years. As of late, tensions have soared:

China could therefore either be the means of keeping the US from assisting Israel or they could assist Russia and Iran against Israel in an in-direct fashion. Either of these would explain why they are such a prominent figure today but are absent from the prophecies concerning the latter-day wars.
Moral Corruption in the Earth
The last subject for today is one which I groan to report on. But as it is a great evil in the world that is only becoming more popular and accepted by the world, it is a trouble which the household is bound to confront at some point. Furthermore, it will have the greatest impact on the young people, and so I feel obligated to discuss it in brief. It is the prefix “trans” which we hear so frequently today. We know what the Scriptures say concerning men acting like women and women acting like men and all perversions alike. They are “abomination unto the Lord thy God” (Deuteronomy 22:5). Under the law of Moses, the penalty for this sin was death, and we have been told that these actions and choices will absolutely prevent one from entering the kingdom of God (Genesis 1:27, Leviticus 18:22, 26, 29-30, 20:13, Deuteronomy 22:5, 23:17, 1 Kings 14:24, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Timothy 1:9-10, Romans 1:22-32, and Matthew 5:17 regarding Christ’s position on the principles in the Law of Moses).
But “trans” is now being applied to greater nonsense than the swapping of the sexes:

The above article reports on a Norwegian man who, though perfectly healthy and married to a woman, believes himself to not only be a woman, but one that is paralyzed from the waist down. He has full function of his body, but he now identifies as a paralyzed woman and spends the majority of his time in a wheel chair. Yet the world has supported him. The man has received widespread support from the media for his “bravery” and “determination”.
Mark this well, for it is certainly not the end of such insanity. Since the new “basis” for right and wrong is what one personally feels and identifies as, all barriers and moral precepts are therefore thrown out the window. On these grounds, if one identifies as a rich person, the world should support this and cause them to be rich. If one identifies as a child-sex offender, the world should support this and allow that kind of abhorrent behavior. With “feeling” as the basis for right and wrong, there is nothing that can be wrong, and evil therefore runs rampant.
Brothers, Sisters, and friends, what cause for sighing. This is the sad result of the Word of the Lord and its moral guidelines being tossed out the window. The Bible gives man structure and principle for a satisfying, fulfilling, and profitable life. God has given us His word in order to show us the way so that we do not become entangled in the endless weeds and briars which the flesh will lead one into.
But the Lord has told us through the prophet Isaiah of such a time when “darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people” (Isaiah 60:2). The world at large would be absent of the light of the Word, and that inevitably means that moral corruption and depravity will abound. While it is angering to see, it is rather more sad. Such individuals are lost in the way. They have no light to show them the way, so they wander and stumble in every direction, struggling with even the most elementary facts of life; i.e., knowing whether oneself is a man, woman, and now, healthy or unhealthy. An entire generation of young people will be exposed to and taught such foolish principles, and so the issue will only increase in severity. Do not ignore these things. Train your children in the way of the Lord so that they might see the fallacy in these things.
Thankfully, as with all other things, we can find consolation in the end which the Lord will bring. When Christ returns and establishes his rule over the earth, such who refuse to repent from this confusion will perish before him. Furthermore, Christ will lift the veil that is spread over all of the nations and show them the truth of all things. They will finally see that he indeed is the Son of God and that all of the Scriptures which they tried so desperately to dispose of were in fact true:
Isaiah 26:9 – … when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Habakkuk 2:14 – For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
With the knowledge of the truth, the survivors of the end-time troubles will finally see and acknowledge their folly:
Jeremiah 16:19 – … the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
Oh, how many things this includes! How many lies have deceived the world of today! Yet all of them, yes, ALL OF THEM, will be exposed and destroyed by Christ. What a time that will be! And as surely as we are now seeing the Lord working in the earth, so surely will these things come to pass! Keep THAT in mind when we see this sin around us!
If there is any group of people on earth who have reason to rejoice, it is those who have been washed and sanctified in Christ. Rejoice, Brethren! Be strengthened by these troubles, for what the world faints at, the servants of the Lord find strength in! Cast away any stumbling blocks before us and make ready, for the Master approaches! Our hope will soon and finally be realized!
